Some Updates

Due to the recent completion of my Masters degree, I am now FREE and have significantly more time on my hands to blog (and plan adventures). This is just a short post to let everyone know I have made some changes to my layout including the theme, menu and some new widgets! If you wish to follow my blog through your WordPress account there is now an easy button for you to do so; if you are not a WordPress member there is a button for you to follow my posts through e-mail – find it, and click it please!

blogfromporch2Some posts to expect: Getting to know my GoPro (I received one as a graduation gift and am going to be messing around with it a bit to prepare for my summer adventures), Best of Budapest, The Magic of Disney and more! DON’T FORGET, I have quite a busy few months ahead. In less than THREE WEEKS I will be sharing with you, first hand, my first music festival experience at MYSTERYLAND. Mid-July I will be blogging live from Western Canada for 10 days and can’t wait to share that experience with everyone. Immediately following that trip I will be finishing my summer off as a staff member at a two-week-long camp in the Adirondacks for Physical Education majors at SUNY Cortland and will be doing my best to blog from there as well.

I’m looking forward to a laid back summer, with many adventures and lots of blogging!

If anyone has any suggestions for things to do or places to see in Vancouver, Whistler, Kelowna, BANFF, Jasper, Lake Louise or Calgary – PLEASE SHARE IN THE COMMENTS!

  1. Congrats on getting your Masters!!! Such an accomplishment! Lake Morraine in Banff area is equally as beautiful as Lake Louise (but unfortunately also as busy in the summer) and Peyto Lake towards Jasper is also stunningly beautiful. All 3 lakes have hikes that wrap behind the lakes so that you can leave the tourists behind for some peace and get a higher view from above!

    P.s. great blog 🙂
